Enlightened Equipment Enigma Quilt 10°F / °C  is almost identical to Revelation except of specific round sewnclosed footbox. Some people find that they never open the footbox on their quilt that is why they designed Enigma with the rounded footbox that is sewn.

The round footbox design creates more foot room while reducing the dead air space that needs to be heated. The sewnclosed footbox requires no fuss or adjustment and shedding the zipper shaves weight to an absolute  minimum.

When maximum warmth isn’t needed you can leave off the included straps but when draft control is necessary the straps provide a simple yet effective way to secure the quilt edges in place making it easy to sleep in any position without letting cold air make its way into the quilt. The sewnclosed footbox is also perfect for cold weather trips, as it helps reduce drafts and maintains maximum warmth. Great for sleepers with cold feet.

The Enigma is the quilt for bike packers, mountaineers, backpackers, and packrafters, who need simple gear that takes up little space and is as light as possible. The quilt is very light and take up little space in your pack, therefore it’s a great choice for ultralight backpacking.

Down is ethically sourced from an RDS certified supplier that verifies that none of the down in the supply chain is acquired through live plucking or forcedfeeding.

The temperature ratings for quilts given by Enlightened Equipment are limit temperatures that correspond to the EN / ISO standards. The comfort temperature is approximately 5°C / 10°F above the limit temperature.
