It is basically a second layer of breathable fabric that hangs the same way as your hammock, using your suspension. The choice of breathable fabric is the key to keep you dry, with any condensation going on within your hammock system. At the same time, we chose an ultralight version of the fabric at its best marked as 10D nylon, used for sleeping bag shells, quilts, or underquilts by the most famous cottage vendors in the USA. Equipped with shock cord suspension, it fits any gathered end hammock. It also comes with additional drawstring adjusters on both sides to tighter or looser fit for your underquilt. 

Underquilt protector is not intended to be used as an underquilt alternative. It is your additional item, that will help you keep your warmth in nasty weather conditions, that will come sooner or later. We made our best to deliver an ultralight solution that will not allow you to keep this one at home. We did not save any cent here, every component is top quality product. The best you can have.
