With weight starting at less than 220g the Torrid Apex jacket delivers outstanding warmth per weight. Built using 2oz/yd² continuous filament CLIMASHIELD™ APEX synthetic insulation, the Torrid jacket brings you the warmth and pack ability of down with the better allweather performance of synthetic insulation and maintains warmth and breathability even when damp. The fabric is a very smooth ultralight Nylon that offers wind protection and comes with durable water repellent finish that repels light fog or snow.

Torrid Apex jacket was designed with no sewn through seams for better wind resistance and the minimalist design eliminates unnecessary weight. The raglan sleeves fit smoothly under pack straps and give you an increased comfort and range of motion. The hood is fitted for mobility and you can adjust the opening with a shock cord. Elastic waist and wrist closures help seal in warmth and eliminate hard plastic components so you can comfortably wear the jacket as a part of your ultralight sleep system. Full length zipper allows you to vent during active use and a grosgrain zipper garage keeps the zipper off your chin. Insulated hand warmer pockets are zippered to secure your accessories.
